On Thursday 15th October I was invited to attend the VIP Opening Ceremony of the Taiwan Excellence Showcase, an interactive, hands on exhibition featuring new and innovative gadgets, gizmos and gaming technology hosted by TV Presenter and Technology Reporter Lara Lewington. Honorable guests included among others Dr Gee San, Vice Chairman of TAITRA (Taiwan External Trade Development Council), Chih-Kung Liu, Taiwan Ambassador to the UK, and Miss Great Britain. Musical entertainment was provided by X-Factor 2014 finalists Only The Young.
Products on display range from electric and EVO folding bikes, Efold Electronic Treadmill (as used in the White House), iSmart Rose Oven Mitts, 4 Stages UV-Light Water Filter, and Nasal Pillows Mask. Taiwan Excellence is the highest accolade awarded to products that encapsulate the concept of innovalue.
The free five day exhibition is held within the Atrium area of the Westfield shopping complex, Ariel Way, London and runs from Thursday 15th October until Monday 19th October.
